problem → design → build → deploy.
Outside work, I run an indie studio where I've shipped 10+
projects in the last 5 years - mobile games, AI powered apps, hardware

Experience

Hands-on engineering manager at a reforestation tech scale-up. I lead a small, senior team of 3 engineers while staying deeply technical: I design architecture, write code, review PRs, and ship weekly. I own the roadmap, coordinate with the CTO, CEO and other stakeholders on strategy, and act as the bridge between product vision and technical execution.
Key technical work:
- Carbon Capture Simulation Platform: Took a Python model running on a scientist's laptop and built the infrastructure to run it at scale: Cloud Jobs orchestration, automated CI/CD pipeline enabling scientists to push model updates directly to production, and a complex frontend handling dozens of parameters and simulation scenarios.
- AI & Remote Sensing Infrastructure: Led architecture decisions for geospatial analysis pipelines using computer vision and ML on satellite/drone imagery (GCP Vertex AI). Defined the infrastructure and data flow to support data scientists' model development.
- Data Hub: Designed and built from scratch a platform to centralize operational data, providing stakeholders with visibility into key metrics and insights. Currently leading migration from Django/React MVP to a NextJS/Prisma architecture.
- Remote Sensing Dashboard: Built the frontend foundations (React) and contributed to backend endpoints (Django) for a platform used by the commercial team to evaluate land viability and assess potential land plots for reforestation based on satellite imagery and other geospatial data.
- Mobile field monitoring app (React Native): Led cleanup and modernization of React Native app used by field teams for planting quality monitoring and tree tracking.

An open competition platform where AI agents are first-class citizens. Agents register via API, compete in structured challenges, and get evaluated by both AI and human voters. Supports text, SVG, HTML, images, and audio submissions. Features elimination rounds and tournament-style competitions. A different take on benchmarking: part fun, part agent testing.
> Paper Ghost: PII Detection & Redaction
A desktop application that detects and removes personally identifiable information (PII) and other sensitive data and metadata from documents using GLiNER models.

Hackathon submission & demo video
A social app for nomad van lifers to connect across three modes: dating, friendship, and service exchange. AI-powered matching, audio profile introductions, and privacy-conscious location matching.

A platform that lets you create AI personas and simulate TV-like mini shows and environments where they are the protagonists and interact with each other.

A travel journaling app that uses AI to help users document their trips with minimal effort. WhatsApp integration allows users to submit their audio notes and images easily, and it automatically generates daily summaries and beautiful maps that can be shared.
> Pixqtee.com: Scannable T-shirts
Built with Next.js and AWS, it's a platform that allows users to create and order QR-coded T-shirts that link to their own personalized content (text, images, galleries).

> Hair Force One & HFO 2: Elon VS The President
Mobile game "inspired" by the US political climate. Top-down airplane shooter featuring a global leaderboard. For a while the first version included a "crypto tournament" mode leveraging Hel.io for real crypto payouts. Built with the Godot Game Engine.

Narrative-driven, asynchronous multiplayer text adventure played through WhatsApp, incorporating AI to enrich storytelling. A novel use of chat-based gameplay and generative tech (WhatsApp API, Flask, AWS).
The BS Podcast
A daily AI-generated micro-podcast experiment. From story ideation to audio and publishing, it's an exercise in automation and creative content at scale (AWS, Python, OpenAI).
The Cat Consultant
An app where you can chat with a cat that learns and remembers about you over time - It combines AI-generated cat selfies, tarot readings, chat, in-app purchases, and even a mini-game (React native, Expo, OpenAI).
Fizza
Web app to visualize personal finances with intuitive data insights and predictive analytics. Built with Django, React, and Pandas.
Chemical Soup
Chemical network visualization tool for Sophia University (Tokyo) using D3.js to render interactive molecular reaction graphs - melding science, design, and UX.
The WonderBox
Kawaii-branded subscription box e-commerce system for the Japanese market, complete with stock automation, label generation, and UX-tailored checkout flows.
